What if?

What if?

This two-word question often serves as the spark for a story idea that could potentially become a blockbuster movie. What if... a massive Great White Shark terrorizes a small New England town? What if... a friendly alien is stranded on Earth and befriends a young boy, helping him find a wayback home? What if... two teenage space aliens, (think “Dumb and Dumber”), joyride through our solar system and crash-land on Earth, the most dangerous planet in the universe? The only person who can fix their spaceship is an eccentric scientist attending a Sci-Fi convention in Las Vegas.

While the teenage space alien idea holds promise, it needs further development. This is where NolanAI can truly shine in fleshing out a story. By inputting the above logline into Nolan's Create Script feature and submitting it, I received the first two pages of a script within seconds. Although not perfect, it provided a starting point for generating ideas. I then used the Brainstorming feature, inputting the logline to request an expanded synopsis. In seconds, NolanAI generated several paragraphs outlining the potential direction of my story. Next, I requested a 4-act breakdown of the story, and voila! I had a potential movie structure. Taking the expanded synopsis, I re-entered it into Nolan's Create Script, selected Comedy as the genre, and submitted it. This time, the first two pages of the script were more fleshed out, with a clear comedic tone and added humorous lines. Now, I can focus on writing scenes and dialogue. Using the Co-Pilot feature, I can complete descriptive paragraphs and add dialogue as needed. If I disagree with the direction Nolan AI suggests for the story, I can make changes, and Nolan immediately adapts to my preferences. NolanAI is an invaluable tool for inspiring creativity. While the writer still needs to put in the work, NolanAI makes the process easier and less time-consuming. So, what if... the next time you have an idea, you could have NolanAI as your co-pilot?
