FinalBit-v3.19.0-AI Script Breakdown: Bulk Element Tagging and a Clean Cast List

In this release, filmmakers can tag or remove an element across every scene in a script in a single action, instead of editing scene by scene or re-running the full breakdown. Character matching was also rebuilt so variations of the same name resolve to one cast member across breakdown, scheduling and budgeting, preventing duplicate cast entries from inflating day counts and budgets. PDF exports now use continuous page numbering across the editor, script coverage and breakdown.

Tag and untag elements across your whole script

Breakdown now lets you tag or remove an element everywhere it appears, in one move. Before, you either fixed scenes one at a time or re-ran the whole breakdown to start over. Now you can let the AI do the first pass, then make your own calls across the entire script in seconds — drop a prop you cut, add a vehicle you just added, rename a location. Your changes stick, and the rest of the breakdown stays as it is.

One character, one entry — everywhere

We rebuilt how characters are matched, so the same person is never counted twice. ANDY, Andy and ANDY K. now land on one character instead of three. That carries through breakdown, scheduling and budgeting, so your day-out-of-days and your cast costs reflect the real cast list instead of phantom duplicates.
